Qumbu police have opened a case of tried homicide and of theft of livestock (sheep) on Saturday when inventory thieves pounced on a homestead in Decrease Tyirha locality taking pictures and injuring a 33-year-old girl.
Because the thieves drove away with about 200 sheep from the kraal, they shot via the home’s window and the sufferer was hit on her thigh and he or she was taken to a close-by clinic after which taken to the hospital.
Police had been summoned, however the seek for the thieves and stolen inventory through the night time was unsuccessful as just one sheep was recovered.
